The Wedding Guide Windsor/Essex County publisher since 1992. Toronto Wedding Guide publisher 1990-1992- I am always looking for potential partners to expand this franchise into Ontario and people that I can employ.

What services and/or skills do you have that would be useful to this community? (Consulting, Tupperware, Chef, World's #1 Mom, etc etc)

I was a display person for all the major china and crystal companies from 1969- 1988.
I am an event planner- 4 of us produce Bluesfest International
I write Art Matters for Biz X magazine
I was a founding member of the Canada South Festival Network.
I was a founding member of the Canada South Blues Society.
I was Vice President and President of ACWR.
I am a good listener and an accomplished administrator.
I love to share my skills and services with others who are like-minded. It's rewarding.
I write bridal blogs to assist all those upcoming weddings.
I am a wife, a mother and call many- good friends. I enjoy mentoring other women with their businesses so that they can achieve their dreams.
I am a promoter and a publicist. I am a good friend.

What is your idea to reach out to your community and help it Thrive?

I would like to be part of a plan to develp an arts incubator, lsuch as the ones in San Diego and Jackson Michiganm that would be in the downtown core of Windsor, Artists, business, children, citizens and tourists could benefit with original and uniquelly person art experiences. Pottery isn't made at Walmart- kids!
Think glass-blowing studios, potting, painting- individual studios all under one roof where it's economically viable for the artists. It's the creative class grass roots that will make this city transform.

What makes you laugh?

Laughter is happiness and babies, my husband, my son-, my 2 year old grandson, my clients, puppies, kttens , my business, and life in general. It depends on whether your glass is half empty or half full. You have to learn to laugh hearty at yourself first!
