Thanks for the advice, But I still don't know what I am going to do, I am eating 5 small meals a day work doesn't allow me to have my extra meal between lunch and dinner always, I am always hungry. I was going to the gym 3 times a week for 2 hrs at a time(before i choose not to go) for 2 yeas now. I used eat everything and anything and now I hardly eat, it worked well for 2 weeks then nothing, I don'tmind being hungry if I was looseing something. but nothing, so maybe I need a break,my family and friends don't see the problem so I am not getting any encouragement here, I may be just fooling myself and will probably not continue with the body for life. We'll see. Thanks again for you help and encouragement though.

My physically fit husband has always told me that it's 90% food and 10% physical activity that will help you lose weight. He also used to tell me that metabolism is effected by the quantity and frequency at which you eat. If you find you are truly sticking to the right portions of the right foods and you are still not losing weight, maybe you're not eating enough. Body For Life stresses the 6 small meals a day because that is what keeps your metabolism working for you. Also try to keep track of the sodium you're taking in....more water or green tea may be able to flush it out. If your weight is stagnating, pump up the intensity of cardio too..give your body a jolt. Whatever you do, don't give up!

I am getting even more frustrated. I have cut back on the food I eat and cut out 80% of my sugary foods and go to the gym 2-3 times a weeks and have not lost any wieght or inches....This must not be for me.... not sure what to do. Feeling very discouraged....

Hi Kim, I go to Lifestyles as well but however I go to the one on manning, and I can't get out until after 10pm. so hopefully some one else out there could be there for you but I am glad to know that I am not the only one haveing trouble. I read some where that as long as we keep trying next monday or even tomorrow it means that we are not willing to give up. I am going to keep trying if you are willing to keep trying.

You are definitely not alone. I have been struggling to lose the "baby" weight for the last two years and I also feel like I am losing the battle. Every Monday I start over and promise that I am going to stick to it. Then by 12:00 that day, I am already saying that I'll start next Monday. I need a workout partner. Someone who will meet me consistently to motivate me to go to the gym. I work steady afternoons (4pm - midnight) and workout at Lifestyles on Dougall. Anyone interested in becoming my workout partner? I need help!

Things have been awful, have not been to the gym in almost 3 weeks, and not eating anywhere close to 6x a day, today I ate 2x unless you count a bowl of rice a meal. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think that I am meant to back to my pre-children size. Everyone was right I can't ever getback to that again, a price you pay for having kids. I thought that they were all wrong, I tried to show them that anyone can do it, if you work hard, but now I don't know. Feeling all alone!

This week is going to be hard. Being off with the kids, cleaning and running around. Lots of excersie but little eating,Hoping to keep on track as much as possible. But I am going to do my best, (my no phrase for this) (Lets keep swimming)

Just thought I would check in, I'm about 3 weeks behind (due to things out of my control) however, I'm back on track and adding cardio everyday to my workout to try and catch up.
